This is so sad because yeongwoon is such a upstanding young boy, we can see how pure is intentions are when he goes out of his way to help and defend the people he cares about. I think this situation with seo-in will left him feeling like he's just a bystander, someone who don't have a place in there. I guess that's also the reason as to why he's trying to distance himself emotionally from this situation so early on. He thinks he doesn't belong in seo-in's life
Exactly and he is a victim of physical abuse from his father. YW thinks it’s tough love which has definitely influenced his outlook on love and self worth. He probably thought he wasn’t deserving of Seo-in’s attention or love… because Seo-in is not beating up saying he loves and cares about to him. He’s just being a (possessive) sweet heart
Don't think the author is trying to portrait mister as a second ml (at least, not for now). Although his mere presence does not pleases seo-in at all. Unlike his father who is violent with yeongwoon, he's a good masculine figure for him. I think this brings up seo-in insecurities because, as he himself said it, he wants to be the only person for yeongwoon (kinda reminds me of how cirrus in lost in the clouds, wanted to isolate skylar to get closer to him).

This is exactly my type of humor. I'm loving it
