The isolation plays a key factor here because juyeon is the only one in front of him right now and his "savior" so he doesn't really have any other perspective to break the illusion

Tbh my problem with this character was not necessarily his problematic behavior (bc we already have a lot of this in other stories lol). The author failed in giving him a more nuanced personality early in the story. It was the same thing for, like, 69 chapters straight. I was already tired of it.
