ayo justinia i can’t @ but just because something was normalized back then DOES NOT MEAN ITS NORMAL. i don’t give a rats ASS if it’s historical, present, future. if a child is involved it’s WRONG. it’s already concerning that an artist of OUR TIME is okay with even making art & a story like this. you probably won’t see this which isn’t an issue but let’s not act like it’s okay just because it’s historical. so many issues in history can be applied to this same argument like the treatment of slaves, women, people of different races, ethnicity, religious beliefs, etc, just because it was normalized then does not take away the fact it was not normal behavior or just in any way. and i’m not gonna look at it through the lens of people from their time because that, to me, seems like it’s trying to be justified which is weird. and if ppl wanna debate about this topic, the fact that it would need to be something someone feels they should debate about IS ALSO WEIRD. beautiful art, but HELL no.
