That's not true at all, aftercare isn't only "applying ointment". It's caring for your partner in every sense of the word after a session/play: talking to them, listening to them, comforting them, massaging them, kissing them, washing them, feeding them, etc. Also, 9 times out of 10 if your partner leaves bruises they don't know what they're doing. If they leave bruises on you, don't ever let them touch you again because IT IS ABUSE.
