I don't think so. I tink he just doesn't know what to do and how to approach her after what happened. As someone who's not good with comforting others he probably don't know what to do and just waits for her to take to him first since she's the one who got angry in the first place. Since he believes he's at fault, things like 'she might not want to talk to him since she's still angry' comes to mind resulting to him just waiting for her to do the next move. Lol. I am talking based on experience. This is how I always act when I get into situations like this.
