Tbh we can’t really hate Raymond for taking revenge I mean he suffered some trauma from losing his father when he was really young and even watched him get hang and I do want to see the count get what he deserves but what I do hate was the way he went about taking his revenge and I hope he sees that soon. And for people who says ray doesn’t like Ian there are many scenes you can see ray really likes Ian and where he does things to keeps him safe but his desire for revenge is overpowering his feelings for Ian.
Anyways this plot is top-tier making me excited to see what’s gonna happen next so imma wait till all is good and when ray and Ian are finally together happily.

These side stories really is showing how fast paced their relationship is with them only being in their early 20s.
Tbh I really don’t like them together nor do I feel the emotional connection between them where they trust each other to tell each other things worse that that they have a child together.

I wonder how the persons feeling now after finding out so much things happened to suyeong but still shipping Minhyeok and suyeong together after Minhyeok yah know,
(A bit of spoiler)
Sexual assaults him.
(Opinion)
Like I get it Minhyeok has looks but I can’t see him and suyeong together( since also in the raws where it showed Minhyeok sex scene you can see that he’s rough with his partner after everything suyeong been though I don’t think that’s heathy for him), if he liked suyeong he should’ve been able to control himself.

I refuse to believe they are best friends, they are more like friends or they even be acquaintances. cause in no way his “best friend” started acting strange(not just some one or two day acting funny, a full blown looking paranoid to the point he even looks sick) then was told he was multiple scratches on his back by his colleague and then went missing for a week after he Shot himself and he barely put any effort into trying to find out what’s wrong with his “best friend”

He found out his best friend was a door right before he got shot...he asked Cain to heal him before Sid kidnapped him from the hospital...now he has been looking for him on foot, prob everyday. What more do you want? See pp 44-46 again if you missed it.

I was about to say the exact same thing.
When he learned about his bestie's change in personality, they immediately had an operation so he could not do something about it yet. And then the operation went crazy ending in them both getting injured. Even though he was shot, he was still worried for his best friend. And then the moment he woke up, his first thought was if his best friend was okay. He even immediately told Cain to go to his bestfriend because something is wrong. I don't know about the other people, but I'm pretty sure this is what a good friend does.

Getting shot by your best friend himself but still worrying about him, then waking up from the hospital but your first thought is the well-being of your best friend, and then telling your demon bf to go to your best friend because something is wrong is, I think, what a best friend would do though.
Also, the moment he knew of the massive change in personality of his best friend was immediately followed by an operation, which lead to them getting injured and hospitalized ultimately leaving him no time to "do something about it".
I don't mean to fight but I think you're being too harsh on him.

Oh lordt part of my thing is missing and why doesn’t he ask Cain to locate him isn’t he like the big shot or something?
^ it’s a genuine question
Plus isn’t it Cain’s subordinate (or whatever Sid is) that’s the brown hair guys door wouldn’t that make it easier and smarter option to look for him rather than on foot everyday like he’s doing. He was kidnapped he could be anywhere for goodness sake and anyone who truly truly truly cared and was worried would’ve want him to be found in the quickest way possible.
And as you said he found out he was a door before he got shot, why didn’t he go talk to him( brown hair guy) and he (the brown haired guy) was acting strange way before he found out he (brown hair guy)was a door.
Just what I’m saying is considering that he had Cain on his side, he could’ve done more.

Oh okay I understand what you are saying and you’re not fighting you’re just stating your opinions like I was doing.
Also part of my thing got cut off, idk why but what I said on the part that cut off was “ even tho he’s worried and thinking about it not a lot of actions are being done” (it’s not word for word but that’s basically what I mean)

The thing that stood out most in your comment was "he barely put any effort into trying to find out what’s wrong with his “best friend”" which I think was too harsh and unfair because he literally only a few moments after he learned the thing about his best friend, they were attacked, injured and hospitalized. He really didn't have the time to do so.
Also, as a response to your other reply, Cain is a big shot for sure but he's not all powerful. He even needed a compass to look for a demon doctor and he didn't even know that Sid is actively betraying him. Furthermore, the MC could not ask Cain for help since he was in the underworld and the MC has no means to summon him at will. Sid is a subordinate but he's quite powerful too and Cain has no absolute control over him so Cain can't really do much at this point.

Sid obviously found a way to block out any attempts Cain would have made to locate his door...Sid did talk about the spell he placed on the building they are in. Seriously, what a lame comeback. Sid has been double crossing Cain since the beginning of this webtoon, you think he doesn't know how not to get caught by his superior? Some things can be inferred by the story context.
Joon did not go thru what is friend did with his demon. Sid was mind-raping him from the get go Cain was way more gentle. Joon had no point of reference for changes in his friend's appearance nor behavior but he did show concern, you know, as a friend. As I said everything clicked when Joon realized his buddy was a door then like 2 seconds later he gets shot..
What you originally said was you didn't believe they were best friends. I'm not clear on what actions a best friend vs friend vs acquaintance would take here that would satisfy you. Joon has defended his boy's actions at work even though his disappearance is mad questionable and after a long day of policing, he walks the beat trying to find him. Acquaintances don't do that sh!t. Friends would have probably left it at reporting him missing and trying to reach out by phone or text. Best friends work and worry themselves to exhaustion..wait, that sounds LIKE JOON! But hey that's my opinion.

In my prev comment I asked you to clarify what actions a bf vs f vs acq would take here that would satisfy you? Then I listed examples frm my PoV with evidence from the story to back it up. It was an attempt to try to understand why you don't see them as bfs.
Btw Joon is an MC and his friend is the 2nd male lead...the doctor is an example of a side character...you can tell by which characters get both spotlight and development
Tbh it’s not really as enjoyable anymore, it’s getting pretty typical, the mc is this super genius guy who does everything well and the time that he does mess up it turned into a next big opportunity for him and his relationship with the blond girl, I just can’t help that it feels forced they could’ve remained friends (what I noticed about these types of webtoon is that a male and female are incapable of being JUST friends one always have to fall for the other) like the MC being in a relationship was totally unnecessary. About sangmin now I just can’t help feel sorry for him. I disagree with his actions but i pity him, him being overshadowed by the mc for years and always being compared to him, then always be called ‘piece of shit’ ‘filthy blood’ by his father and his brother basically everyone around him and plus what he experienced when he was young being blamed for everything. It doesn’t surprise me he turned out this way and it’s honestly sad.
Any at the rate the story is going sangmin has more character depth than the MC.(just my opinion btw)
Especially with the Jihyun and sangmin being ‘friends’ it’s not a nice feeling when you’re always being overshadowed by your friends and I’m not talking about one or two times but for years and always being compared.
For those who don’t know how it feels, it’s not a good feeling. Also how did jihyun not noticed something off about sangmin for them being friends for so long going to the same high school, university and working at the same hospital, how didn’t he notice your friend being mentally and physically abused. Well maybe he wouldn’t notice the mentally part but sangmin was literally being beaten with a golf stick by his father in the hospital. Like wth ?!
Anyway I don’t know why I’m getting so deep, it was literally bothering me.
You need to remember sangmin was always sus to jihyun cus he bullied him the entire jihyun high school past lifetime.
N suddenly they became friends in this life? Bro ftf maybe he show he’s okay but inside the trauma are still there
Okay I understand that but it’s jihyun going off about how he considered sangmin his friend....
on some level i'm wondering if sangmin has bpd.
it's either really really bad story telling or there's more than meets the eye w/sangmin's situation. like, come on, this dude is supposedly smart and gifted BUT every. single. frickin time he sets up a scheme he feels the need to drop clues for people to infer exactly wtf is going on and somehow have a chance to prevent it.
Remember it's a friend, not a bestie...if it's your best friend, then yeah you'll probably have a better chance to realize something's up. However, if it's a friend that you sometimes hang out with, then it's a bit harder...
The Zodiac Killer did the whole clue dropping thing too...like a taunt that "I'm better than you" and "since you didn't catch me with all these clues, it's your fault that person died."
Yeah I agree I think they should’ve continued the storyline where the daughter dies because of sangmin and turn it into like a rush to figure out how he did it and prove he’s innocent in the climax and then maybe finish the story. This us storyline feels like filler in naruto
Also what happened to sangmin and the budding romance with MC ex wife??? Like that was interesting too
I agree with the Sangmin bit to be honest. Sangmin may be an asshole whether Jinhyun reincarnated or not, but I can't help but think that he's being robbed sometimes. Like, aside from the past knowledge that Jinhyun, his luck is god-tier. It's unreal. Unlike Sangmin who is unlucky in almost every aspect. Like the only think that he has luck on is his looks (which is robbed, rightfully I guess) and his genius (which can't be appreciated because he's forever second.) He's really my favorite character in this manhwa just because of how complex his character is.
The question now leaves us with what happened to Sangmin in the 1st life? Did he do all these dastardly deeds with no one the wiser?
LMIGODH GOOD POINT
Honestly same and I love how you worded this
With way Sangmin is with his family, I think in the MC's 1st life, Sangmin probably killed off all of his immediate family members and his other enemies with no one the wiser...maybe the gods decided to send the MC back, not just because he saved them, but also to become Sangmin's rival so that the body count is lower...
You should be writing this Lmaoo
Lol
