He was betrayed and killed by his childhood friend at the first chapter, pretty sure that's the tragedy part. If not, one of them at most, might die around the end but I doubt it.
considering the effed up shit in this manga so far (especially in this last chapter) this not only needs the tragedy tag but also a horror tag.
