i think it's not about the yaoi logic but about Akitora as a person. He is really weird to me, but i guess that's why he is successful as a gangsta. Just see what kind of figure Tatsu's mom was. She knew she has to be tough to be a gangsta's wife. To Akitora, I guess he believes his son also needs to outgrown his shadow and his relationship with Rogi is already in the past, not to mention Rogi is literally the definition of the man version of a femme fatale.

wait i just remembered something else! At the end of the book, rogi was going to be killed for what he has done to Tatsu that's why Tatsu accepted him to be part of Akitora's family. He still pitied Rogi (which kind of makes sense because he is genuinely a kind person who could not bare seeing others die because of him.) I still think it's the gangsta environment Tatsu was raised in that downplayed the consequence of rape(still Akitora was going to kill Rogi after he has gone too far. It's sad. When they were young, Akitora would appreciate Rogi's bold and reckless schemes. But now when ROgi is still so reckless about their love, Akitora has completely decided to put Rogi behind him that he wouldn't even grant Rogi's wish to see him, but instead he went straight for the execution.

I meant the rings in the cherry blossom after winter is not a sign that the manhwa is at it's climax unlike in the most of the manhwas. Season 4 started after the rings were given.
