not to excuse the real demios’s actions but i do feel bad that the whole reason he’s a villain is because his wack ass dad with a dick for a brian cheated on the empress and had another woman on the side. like ugh this is so infuriating. like obviously demios is bad shit insane and crazy but it was all because his stupid father ignored the will and fate of their beast god or whatever and fucked a bitch that wasn’t his mate once again, men are at the scene of the crime.
while i don’t like that the empress schemes against baby roxan. i do still feel pity for her. she never knew about the fox mistress and truly believed her son was hers. that poor woman. she was evil but honestly she didn’t deserve that.
i really do enjoy how all the evil characters are morally grey. i can enjoy their complexity while still acknowledging that their actions were harmful. this author did an amazing job at writing their characters. while i do agree that demios should meet his end, there’s still a part of me that pities him because his madness stemmed from his father’s infidelity. yikes.
