I like the series so far, but I think it's ridiculous and hilarious that the only "flaw" the duke has is that.... he's single? Really? How is that a problem when clearly he could get any girl he wants and multiple girls try to flirt with him all the time. Even the "prettiest" lady at the ball approaches him (and somehow she's not mocked for being single as well?)
It is just such a silly and forced attempt to give the ML flaws, I couldn't help but laugh.

This was very common in the time period this is depicting, mostly female but also for first-born males. It is all about progeny. The "prettiest" lady is probably sixteen, no older than twenty. Once she has been introduced to society, her clock ticks and her time is up shorter than a man's. So attempting for a husband would be seen as her doing what is expected of her while for the duke, going to war is leaving a responsibility unfulfilled. He is also in a high position of power so without an heir, the seat could be contested and even start a war of its own should he die.

I've been reading up to now and I think I've lost interest. It rubs me the wrong way that all these people are only interested in her because of these talents and skills she's borrowing. If she didn't have these magical skills, none of the other characters would even look twice at her. The blonde prince especially seems like he'd despise her for being clumsy and incompetent, which was how she was originally. Like, the prince is only interested in her because he thinks she's some kind of godlike maid/sculptor/pianist/chef, not because of her personality or any actual traits that belong to her. The black haired guy is also only interested because he thinks she has medical training. The only one who might have a genuine interest in her is the white haired knight.
It also bothers me that she just magically has all these skills that other people spent years learning and practicing and perfecting through dedication and hard work. I feel bad for the sculptor and composer who admire her work and feel inadequate in comparison to her skill when she doesn't even have any passion for their craft.

I agree! I really like the other story from this author, but this one just doesn't do it for me. It would have been a nice plot twist if the people, who's abilities that she borrows, are like her past selves or something; like she's a reincarnation from all of them. At least then we can say that those are her true abilities. But instead she's just getting everything handed to her; there's no real hard work, there's no excitement from seeing her try her best and everything relies on conveniences, like she conveniently gets a dream and conveniently it's a dream that matches her current circumstances and conveniently manages to save the day with that dream.

Oh yeah, that was another thing that bothered me, everything is too easy and she just happens to learn the perfect skill to save the day every time. The magic trick with the young price also bothered me a lot. Like, she couldn't even make friends with a child without help? That would have been a good opportunity to have her actual personality like her kindness or patience or something shine.

Is The Breaker ever going to be continued? The artist/author keep starting new projects :(

I hope that he will still do the breaker s3. They might be still exploring other genre before getting into the breaker s3. As they mentioned before, s3 might take 20 to 40 volumes to finish. Considering the length of s2 which is 5yrs, s3 might take 8 to 10 years to finish lol And so, they probably wanted to do a different stuff from the breaker.

Ugh, i'm tired of Taesoo's behavior. He just isn't a likable character anymore. She should just get together with Mr. Hwang, who has always been a decent and nice guy.

I'm not so sure he's decent because i'd recently read a comment here which had an entirely different perspective on Mr. Hwang and i agree with that comment. Mr. Hwang's most important catalyst has always been to prove his father wrong which is why he keeps sticking to his moronic decisions however hurtful they are to others surrounding him. Example: Ms Doh. His inability to grasp the direness of these situations are what makes it so annoying to root for him. Example: The extent of the cruelty done to Taesoo.
Also, I understand Taesoo's pessimism may annoy us who root for him and Sooah but c'mon. You've gotta give him a break. He has been the kindest and most responsible man out there who has never pushed down anybody else to climb up the social ladder but has done so with his own merit AND STILL, HIS LIFE IS SHIT with one terrible thing happening over the other. I mean, how can anyone expect one to not be pessimistic?
Sooah is with him but she's fallen ill. It's not so much that he doesn't want her but when she fell "because" of him, he probably just doesn't want his misfortune to fall on her as well. Now, THAT'S noble thinking as compared to Mr. Hwang's indecisiveness.
This is obviously a terribly rough patch for them but i hope they work it out and also hope that Mr. Hwang would grow up and see Doh for what she truly is, a calamity.
Seems a lot like "A Stepmother's Märchen"... Right on the edge of becoming "free" of their male family members that harass/prank them, they get sent back in time to the beginning of their relationship with them.
