magic created a topic of Aesthetics of Unpleasantness

Lmao is no one besides me shocked about the reveal that the Korean guy is actually an alpha? I thought we were getting some good beta representation...

magic created a topic of Genius Archer’s Streaming

I'm enjoying the series, but I feel like Almond would be a kinda boring streamer IRL? He doesn't seem super interesting or charismatic when playing. He's a good player so that can be fun to watch if you're into the game he's playing, but since he switches games all the time, it would be hard to build up a fanbase. Players who like to watch skilled gameplay would leave when he switches to games they don't know/like. For example, I have no idea how to play Valorant, so I can't tell what's a good or bad play, and when I'm watching a streamer who is a good player that doesn't talk much and doesn't explain anything, it is boring for me. I feel like Almond barely seems to show any personality.

So does it ever become relevant the MC is a transmigrated Japanese person? I hate when series make them a transmigrator and it has zero impact on the story. Feels like it's just an excuse for them to reference Japanese/modern stuff for no reason. MC's values don't even seem particularly progressive/modern.

So is the prince aware that his guard is hiding his identity or not? I feel like that's something he should know.... in which case they can just tell him that they're siblings...

magic created a topic of The Script-Eating Actor

They don't really explain why he wasn't able to succeed before getting the skill. If the main things the skill does is make him memorize the script and embody the character better, and now he can get roles... doesn't that just mean he wasn't a very good actor before?

That's it? Feels like I wasted my time reading this, absolutely nothing happened.

magic created a topic of The Villain's Survival Route

I remember dropping this novel because all harem girls were annoying, but I guess I'll give it another shot. Maybe it will be better in manhwa form. Julie already seems less annoying than I remember, at least for now.

magic created a topic of Navigatoria

Uhhhh huh? What kinda ending was that?! Σ( ̄□ ̄||)

Definitely got axed early! Too bad, it had potential.

magic created a topic of The Duke’s Wife Obsession

If she wants to open an art gallery and travel around looking at art, isn't that extremely easy to do as a wealthy noblewoman? Why would she need to pretend to be a man or leave her husband? They can just be estranged and live separately while she enjoys her hobbies.

It's kinda messed up that there's apparently a bunch of innocent people suffering in pain because of their powers, but it seems like she's only going to heal the emperor and no one else.

Checked the raws and it looks like Hina returns in ch107... That's so far away

EDIT: Oh... it looks like the series ends on ch108

I really like the artstyle. The artstyle of goofy parts reminds me of Fairy Tail, and the muscle old men remind me of Armstrong from FMA. I wonder if the artist worked as an assistant for those mangaka?

magic created a topic of Regas

The butler's devotion is so pure, he only cares about the young master's safety

Wait is he gonna get a giant mutant pet dog???

magic created a topic of Enough with the Flirting

Hmmm I think I'm dropping it here. It just feels like gratuitous torture because no one has any brains and are just tormenting her for no reason. She's also annoying for just staying there and taking it. She should have just let herself get kicked out of the palace and run away to live as an apothecary like she wanted. Like literally what's stopping her? She'd feel bad about ditching her deadbeat dad? Bleh.

magic created a topic of Flowers Are Bait

Bro where are the police??? Why is her stalker allowed to just wander around freely harassing her???

Fabian would've been a much more interesting character if he didn't have feelings for Riella, but felt forcibly drawn to her because of her healing powers. Like, what if he was actually in love with the princess, but was tormented by his need to be near Riella? It would be like one of those stories with a White Lotus Saintess who have charm magic and make all the guys feel drawn to her against their will, except that Riella isn't doing it on purpose.

FML is going through a hard time and ML has serious communication problems, but she's being a little unfair to the ML here. Like, he told her that he was going on tour with the EMPEROR. He can't just cancel because she asked him to, and she didn't even explain why she wanted him to be there, he has no idea about the funeral. Also, why can't she just reschedule the funeral for when he's back? There doesn't seem to be anything special about that particular day... just pick a different one...

I'm getting annoyed by the student council guy. Rain already demonstrated he cares about using magic to solve ordinary problems when he helped that club at the beginning...
