s2 is trying to dump their garbage translation here but people are mass reporting and getting it taken down thats why you see there was an update but nothing showing up

they have a website you can go on to read it (you can Google it) if you are really desperate but it is a really baaaaaad translation. I'd rather wait for a quality translation tbh instead of ruining the experience for me

Dude, nooon! Please have some patience, there are so many good translation teams out there but s2 manga steals (snipes) the projects from them and then they halfass the translation and dump it just for fame! I hate them so much lol! We should all report them!

Someone gave me a sample of how they do it and I say no and now your telling me they steal from other teams that’s another definite no bro isn’t there an unwritten rule to not steal other people translations literally frost scans accidentally had this issue and backed off cause they didn’t know be polite don’t steal from other teams

I have read their translation and it's not a bad translation (like grammar error or nonsense sentences).

Probably the only thing bad is they are sniping projects. But it's not the same as sniping, as they do translate everything from the beginning (you can go to their website), so it couldn't be called sniping.

The only difference is that they are doing hundreds of projects at the same time and much quicker. They are doing it on an industrial scale, rather than a group project scale. And that's what pisses the other translation groups off.

Not only snipping project, dude. They also Removed other Scanslation's credit too (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Their translation IS super bad! And so are their cleaning and typesetting. The reason why they're so quick is litterally BECAUSE they make zero effort into perfecting their work. And that's why other translation groupes hate them, and so do a lot of readers, like myself. Whenever I see someone defending them I guess it's for one of two reasons, either they work with them, or they're one of those mediocre readers who just settle for whatever, and don't know what the world "quality" mean! Seriously those are legit the ONLY two reasons anyone would defend S2 manga....... They are a curse to the manga/manhwa world!

Before you guys possibly go back and forth please do not be too rude to each other and don’t cuss under my post or use personal attacks I’ve had a post where they got into an argument and it turned really bad so civilly talk it out thank you :)

To be honest, I'm very appreciated the time and effort other groups spent on their projects and series. It takes a lot of dedication and work.

However, I don't think that's the good argument for taking too many series at one time and delaying everything together. The scanlation group should estimate their available time and resources. It wouldn't be fair, if one team keeps taking more projects, and wait for 3 months for a release.

What do you think if one artist decides to take all of the novels' drawing projects, then update one series every 2-3 months? Even though she might be posting every day (very hardworking), the amount of projects she has at hand is too many that when rotation completes, it will take 2-3 months for her to release the next chapter of the same series.

To be fair, if it's quality is what the group is after, they can definitely release it at their own pace, it doesn't matter. But the reporting thing is a bit too serious I think?

Because if they don't like the team, the best way would be to keep the chapter on manago instead, as the deletion will direct people to s2 website, and they will have more views/revenue than posting on mangago.

If they want a faster chapter, feel free to visit their website... But please don't ruin mangago's quality.. S2manga translation certainly not welcome in here

Ewwwww no! We don't WANT their work on mangago. Do you know why there are so many people on Mangago? It's not just because there are a lot of works in here, other sites also have a lot of works but don't have as many people. The reason we are all on mangago is because of the community!
Some people have been loyal to this site for years, myself included, and that was waaaay before S2 manga started poisoning this site with their SHITTY work. They have contributed in lowering the general quality of the site, and ruined a lot of manhwas for tens, if not hundreds of readers!!!
You're telling me they snipe because they don't like other scanlation teams keeping projects to themselves?? Well I'm sorry, other teams are better so they are allowed to work on as many projets as they want, S2 manga are so horrible in translation, cleaning, typesetting, THEY DON'T DERSERVE TO BE A SCANLATION TEAM IN THE FIRST PLACE! They don't deserve a single project!
And yes, they keep posting their CRAP on mangago despote everyone complainte so of course they should be reported!! I hate that team so much!!

It's good to be efficient and get translations out fast but you must think of people who have a hard time understanding their translations for various reasons. Examples include non-native English speakers, comprehension problems, reading problems, etc. Also, a lot of people can't enjoy the stories put here because it just sours the experience that a lot of us have to spend extra effort trying to decipher what they even mean. It doesn't look good, it doesn't read well, it's just very bad quality. I'd rather wait. No hate if this is not your stance, as I mentioned above they have their own website where they upload their translations and anyone is welcome to read there. But the community here would rather refrain from having their work uploaded here.
In my opinion, regular groups' efficiency levels and the workload they take on is a different conversation. And mangago is just a more accessible website however you look at it. More translation groups, wider variety of content, great community. Regardless of how much work s2 is doing, most people do not like their quality, would be too lazy to switch websites, or using mangago is more convenient. It is what it is. The community clearly doesn't want their translations so that's that.

If you actually want to support the group, you usually see a message from the scanlation group to watch their scanlation on mangadex instead (if it's not a re-scanlation of licensed mangas).

For me mangago is a bit of mix quality, where you don't always find the best quality scanlations, as mangago has little filter for the scanlations. If you have read enough, you will know that there are a lot of scanlations with lower images quality, sometimes with omitted pages as well. This does not happen on mangadex, as all the uploads are from the original scanlation team members.

and the reasons I usually watch on manago are because it only notifies me of English scanlation updates and to avoid all the drama among the translation groups. For the later reasons, probably opposite of your motivation on being here.

It's just not appropriate to assume what you think is right for you, is right for everyone as well.

Well, based on the mass reporting and how many people I've seen complaining about S2, I'de say "most of us" agree that we don't WANT them. Seriously, if you work with S2 manga, can you please STOP posting in here? Just use your site. The des people who only want fast updates and no quality will find you, don't worry. and the rest of us will be better off without out :) :)

I'm not working for s2 unfortunately. I'm just a normal reader on mangago.

I'm not coming to managago for the drama, to be honest, otherwise, I would rather stay on mangadex, as that's the home of the group scanlations. I came to read the manga as a source of fun relief from stress and not for the drama of any kind ^^||, so in my opinion, it's pointless to be angry about the whole situation. So I won't engage in further conversation, as I see no meaning continuing for both of us. You are entitled to your opinion, and so as I.


If you are that's frustrated with the situation with s2, I suggest you could complaint with them directly through their website, as I don't think they would spend time and effort scrolling through the comment section of mangago :), for your opinion.

happy waiting then, and for your information, s2 has been doing the translation for this manga since chapter 6 (check the credit).

The original translator (Bucci gang) has been taking their time releasing since 4 months ago, at the speed of 2 chapters/month. They are at chapter 9 right now, so it would take them another 10 months to release until chapter 29, and another 3 months to catch up with the raw at chapter 36 now.
