From the conversation, it felt like they fell for each other but felt guilty towards Ryuji because of which they couldn't pursue it. I don't think someone would spend years of their life chasing after someone simply because of guilt.

THE FEELS MAN! THE FEELS!! I cried so damn hard thinking chapter 5 is the last chapter. Damn! I'm really glad They didnt ended the story there. and that ito san and kyosuke kun get their well deserved happy ending. and BOOOOYYY THE PARALLEL STORY. ugh.
