Love this story but I just KNOW that bastard emperor is gonna be the love interest, he’s gonna fall in love with our badass queen (but come on who wouldn’t we all have) but still protect his damn mistress and be all pathetic and moody and the empress will make sure Rosalind gets what she deserves and then the emperor will somehow win her over
No I don’t know spoilers but I read a shit ton of novels/stories like this so I have a sense

Don’t get me wrong, trying super hard to live is great, but this MC is already one of my top favorites ╮(￣▽￣)╭
So, I really love the twins, they’re adorable and so, so strong omg I just want to wrap them up in big fuzzy blankets and take them home and spoil them forever. The 3 princes are cool too, so far but.....sorry I really don’t feel like forgiving their dad.
Believe me, I read ALL the cold dad with adorable kid stories, but this guy? 5 years. He didn’t do anything for 5 years and he knew what Rurahel was like. Okay, maybe he didn’t know about the abuse, but he easily could have if he had, I don’t know

And even when he took them in, I feel like he wasn’t really trying to connect with them. He just ‘abducted’ them and plopped them down in a strange place, strange people, without doing anything to help calm them down or give them a sense of security. Yeah his other kids are way advanced in weirdness, but he saw how small they were. He saw their fear. And he did nothing.
So yeah, I’m sorry, I like the story and love the twins, but I just don’t want to forgive their dad. He doesn’t deserve it.
