Henry and Sam will obviously be endgame but it's sad Seth was used purely as a plot device and not as a character who actually stood a chance. Poor boy was the only one who was honest and straightforward with his feelings from the START but is the one who will get the ugliest deal in the end. He was the one who got Henry ready to move on but also the one who got Sam to realize his feelings for Henry (after many, many years -_- ). Without seth's honesty, henry and sam would probably still be unclear with their feelings for 10 more years. Sucks.

I cant describe how i hate everything is happening in this work. Bc unfortunately childhood loves doesnt happen that way. And even if Sam says he loves Henry, it just feels... vague. And sorry but i dont even have sympathy for Henry anymore. The only one that deserved his sincerity is the one been used and left to forget aside. I just wanna him and Sam to be together already so this pain can end and hopefully babe Seth will have a new chance to love someone who actually deserves him.

I get that both henry and sam were indecisive and cowards at trying to explain their feelings to each other but im more annoyed at sam because he... literally married someone else. How did he think henry was going to take that? Henry didnt give up on sam even after sam married someone else but JUST WHEN he met seth and FINALLY decided to get over his first love suddenly sam does a 180 and says he's always had feelings for him? And henry's just supposed to give him a chance right then and there?

I don't think Sam were fully aware before. In a previous chapter he states that after Henry confessed, all the emotions and thoughts he's had about their relationship throughout the year just clicked - it all finally made sense. Sam has always been attracted to Henry, but I don't think he even conceived of thinking of another man as a romantic prospect. I mean, they were already as close as you could get on a platonic level, as if they were dating just without the intimacy of a romantic/sexual partner.

I don't think Sam knew back then. In a previous chapter Sam said that everything between them just clicked in his mind and fell into the right place after Henry confessed. All the feelings he's had up until then finally just made sense. Before that happened, I guess Sam didn't really conceive of the idea that they could be closer than they already were (aka through being more intimate/romantic instead of simply platonic) or even thinking about another man as a romantic prospect.

Yeah I know, because Henry keeps denying the emotions Sam is clearly expressing now, thinking that something more between them is impossible for some reason.
The reason why I explained it like that is because Sam knows his emotions now, but you're questioning his actions before he was sure. It's common for people in purely platonic relationships to get married to different people yet still keep in touch. How much closer can you get on a platonic level without going into romantic/sexual territory? And as I said there are gay people who get married only to realize much later and get divorced.
