Reading the comments here is so refreshing. In other pages I read, every time a woman likes one of the main characters people are disgusted, calling them bitches and whatnot, saying "gross, this is a BL" even though they were always good characters. I get it if they're dislikeable and really bad people, but many times they aren't.
I totally agree everyone's respectful to nana's feelings TT and I'd like to add as well maybe it's because of how the author presented nana throughout the story(?) Cause in some cases, there really are authors just adding side characters to elevate the mains or plot but this one feels genuinely like slice of life where everyone's just trying their best yknow
This one's really nicely written! I read others where the female side characters were super nice too, but sadly not too many. Thing is, in the page where I read the raws of this manhwa, the comments were filled with "ugh, I don't care about their story, I want to see Dajeong" and "this is BL, we don't care about heterosexual relationships" like BL characters can't have character building and development.

Jaehyuk being a badass aside, focus on the subtle things too, like him asking himself why he's not attracted to other men too if he already likes a man. I just love that this is not the same old "I'm straight but you're the exception" trope. Jaehyuk is actually trying to understand his own attraction to a man, not even discarding that he might be gay/bisexual because right now he's not attracted to ANYONE but Garam, not men nor women.
And he was pretty chill when the last guy approached him. S1 Jaehyuk would've been physically violent and spew homophobic slurs, now he's just aloof and took that business card (which I'd bet is a modelling gig. No hint of what it was in the raws yet)
Jaeyeon just needed someone to tell him "no one's gonna like you like this" lolol it was funny when I read it the first time and it's funny now. It's hilarious that he didn't notice how unlikeable he was, but he does become more docile in the future.

Natsume Isaku said in the afterword that she hopes we can see each other again, so who knows when volume 8 is coming, but it *will* be coming. I've been reading this forever and I honestly just want them to say "I love you" in the "aishiteru" way and get couple's rings (PLEASE)

"We use gay for everything now" bisexual erasure is super common in manga and manhwa, there's always talk about "but you're straight" if the guy happens to like women. Been reading BL for years and I remember like 10 where bisexuality was ever mentioned.
That being said, I still loved this. From the guy who said "ew, gays are gross, wish they'd write it on their foreheads so I know to keep distance" to "I'm gayer than you are" and not just "yeah, I love women but you're an exception." He didn't mind his friend finding out he's dating another man (didn't even try to deny it!), he's thinking about Garam meeting his family, he's thinking of making money by himself so they can still be together...this manhwa is offering WAY more than other BL these days and it's the one I expected the least!

No one irl is gonna be comparing dick sizes to see who should top, but since it's fiction we're talking about, people most of the times will just want to go with what's hot to them personally.
