I was so pissed he cut it because kids were making fun of him for it after him and hori started dating. Then it was never addressed why he cut his hair.

Miyamura who had a gloomy look to him at the time didn’t mind what people said about him but when he started dating hori and saw how she confidently told people she was dating miyamura but people still made fun of her and were in disbelief he decided he wanted to change so that he could stand more confidently next to hori. He wanted to be just as confident as hori when it came to their relationship that’s why he cut his hair and stopped wearing his fake glasses. We know how much of a confidence booster an image change can be. I think it’s amazing he did that because to begin with he didn’t have that image because he liked it. He had it so he could look boring and go unnoticed by people around him.When he started dating hori he became much more vocal and much more true to himself. He became more confident and obviously happier . I think that’s great and I actually love the short hair but I love the long hair with all piercings too.
