What the fuck author. You make him be sweet, gentle, and considerate like they're whole lives and NOW he fucking jumps him in a VERY rapey looking scene??? Seriously wtf that seemed so out of character and so out of place in this comic. Ugh. Just so disappointed.
Or does it? He had a lot of pent up frustration through-out many years and had tendencies to be violent/have a bad mouth when he got jealous as a kid, bullying the one he likes. He always acted to be all chill with it, but we did see some dark tendencies through-out the story with his thoughts who ended up "overcoming" him in this scenario. So I don't really think it's out of character, personally, it kind of makes sense. To me, at least!
I get what you're saying because I followed that line of thinking at first too, but I think ultimately the authors in the bl genre are making mistakes when they make almost all their male characters out to be one angsty outburst away from becoming actual rapists or sexual assaulters. You don't just be friends with somebody since childhood and have feelings for them and then one day get frustrated and pin them down, threaten them, and then basically molest them. Its not giving guys any credit. I think manga authors in general have a problem with depicting guys as always trying to hold themselves back from jumping on somebody. You see it in bl and shoujo. Idk if its a japanese mentality about men and urges and control or victim blaming or WHAT but we all can't deny its a problem. Maybe they're trying to add in tensity or exaggerate in order to portray just how pent up or how much desire a character is dealing with, but for me it interrupts the story, flattens characters, and is just flat out unnatural. In this case he was often having conflicting thoughts of wanting to be important to the guy he liked, feeling frustrated that he didn't notice his feelings, and etc. He showed times where his thoughts got negative or a little dark but never like...rape or assault dark (at least to my memory, correct me if I'm wrong). And even if he has had thoughts of wanting to jump him or be with him sexually as many boys do, they don't tend to actually act on those thoughts. I just have a hard time believing that in the situation they're in he would suddenly just pin him like he did and start feeling him up. It just felt very unnatural to me.
In short, it's "yaoi logic strikes again". :)))
I've tried to read a bit and theres a lot I like....except...her boobs are drawn so weird. Like I get that they're drawn to look perky but the way boobs actually sit on the body is so much sexier. To me it just ends up looking like she got a weird boob job done that made them look all messed up, they're like way too far up on her chest and always look like pushed up more than a push up bra could even achieve it looks so weird.... Am I the only one bothered??? Like the manhwa will be getting super hot then she whips out her weird boobies and its kind of kills it for me lmao
nah pal, pretty much almost every boob in any ecchi or mature manga/manhwa looks like a boob job or a push up bra without the bra lol some are just worse than others
Alright so when are we getting the Spin Off about our Noona?? Because we all know thats what we're really here for.
Also incase people here haven't heard, Lezhin comics has been basically stealing from artists. It's been pocketing more of the artist's money than it is supposed to so....just thought people should they can look up more about this. Until its resolved idk what to do because Im disappointed the money I'm spending there isn't being used as I believed it was
so what now, are we getting our regular dose of free and untethered manhwas from lezhin because they are guilty of a greater evil? because so it seems, seeing some recent updates...
Everyone here is constantly bitching about Yura and its so obvious that its because of the incorrect shounen ai tag making a bunch of girls revert to their ugliest state of hating other girls. Why does it have to be like this. What did Yura do thats worse than what Taeoh or Yoseob have done???? She's the most normal person in this story
Well... I guess because she's a bitch but still a pitiable bitch. She's pretty much annoying and what I really don't like was that she's ungrateful and gets mad at taeoh who helps her out a lot. Basically, she's the kind of girl that I hate and what the hell is so good bout her that jaeha even like her? And I doubt that their relationship would actually last long, considering of yura's personality. And the most normal person would be jaeha's parents duh~. Yura's not that normal and people liked taeoh and yoseob more actually~(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
And yoseob is mentally unstable, you can't really blame him for that. The guy suffered from his abusive parents and never received any actual love so he doesn't understand what love is and what I like about him was his unstable side and twisted mind actually(≧∀≦). It's just his main charm so just have to accept it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Yeah I know people like those two more I just don't get why. Yura is just honest so I guess people hate that she does what she wants and feels unapologetically. Also she clearly has a soft spot for Jaeha and likes him, I just don't think she knows it yet. She is nice and considerate when she actually likes a person so I don't think theres anything to worry about relationship wise. If she dated somebody she liked she'd be good to them. She's already trying to help Jaeha even though his brother has threatened her life to keep her from doing so.
Yoseob is messed up because of his past but most of the world's most notable rapists and murderer's have the same thing. At some point you have to hold people accountable regardless of their past. Just because a mental disorder makes you more predispositioned towards things doesn't mean you have no choice or control over your actions.
Guess people here a just stupid, makes sense though since most people on this site are underaged little girls so I can't say I'm surprised they like the actually insane guy and the guy who is only somewhat nice or forgiving of people because he feels guilty due to the past. Maybe they'll understand once they actually grow up and can understand what this comic is really about... hint hint it isn't about romanticizing mental illness like people are trying to do
she hasnt suffered nearly as much as they have. she doesnt have a tragic backstory (she does i guess but we’re all ugly here so we cant even relate to her shit sob story) shes also kinda useless to the plot all she does is whine and be a bitch her only worth was to push taeoh to help jaeha tbh oh &to create some unnecessary bs romance
Tbh, the romance is really unnecessary and cringey#-.-) in this manhwa considering what make people interested in this manhwa is yoseob. I'm waiting for yoseob to appear rather than the story revolving around jaeha who looked like he's going to throw yoseob away cuz he now has his friends, taeoh who really needs to learn to speak his mind and not misunderstand all the time, and of course the ungrateful bitchy yura. I initially thought the author was going to make yura a side character but I guess he/she did disappoint me on that one ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭.
People I think hate Yura because in this story they find her boring but to me its so rare to get to see female characters explored in their negative emotions without being written off as a bitch. Yura is super normal and has experienced a lot of emotions girls her age deal with so I think its interesting. I don't like seeing nice girls in stories because nobody cares about them. They're 1 dimensional and used as a plot device. Here Yura is a female character that embraces her bad attitude but still has morals. She has flaws and is brash but is also unapologetic for embracing her emotions. She tries to think about her actions from time to time and cares about the people that care about her. She's just a very human character and it is interesting. We get to see male characters explore their negative emotions all the time but rarely girl characters for the exact reason going on here, people want to write her off as a bitch. I guess I'm the only person here who has ever met another real life girl?? They're complex, the get angry, they can be manipulative, weak, strong, bold, loving, caring, all in the same person. Nobody is perfect and I like that all the characters in this story have their flaws but aren't written off as unable to redeem themselves.
I actually have nothing against her , she is a kid learning with her mistakes your personality is always changing and she looks changed now dhe even apologized so idk why people still can't let go of her previous behavior, she realized it herself and we all makes mistakes but people are too quick to judge
