Are the character’s morally grey? Yes, we’re being shown time and time again that the character’s view points (or actions) aren’t black or white. That’s pretty obvious. However, it’s not entirely wrong to criticize MLs behavior??? Does his behavior have layers to it? Yes, of fucking course it does. You can acknowledge his backstory AND motive while also criticizing his current actions towards MC. I thought that was common practice when it comes reading? Yes, he’s from a different time period. Yes, he’s traumatized due to being locked away for decades by his once lover. But people can still point out that “hey, Bihwan forcing his beliefs on MC every second MC breaths is sorta fucked, right?” ISN’T THEM HATING ON ML BECAUSE HE’S MORALLY GRAY OR TRAUMATIZED?! Hell, even MC has faults that can also be pointed out.
Like dawg, some of you are acting like Bihwan’s morality is some complex thing that excuses his actions towards MC. They are both equally using each-other. They both are at fault when it comes to this stupid ass morality game.
The poor translations and sudden character changes + plot changes(?) was such a mind fuck to read. This whole thing is confusing and poorly paced???? Interesting concept, terrible execution.
I remember where this story was (and where I was) in 2015 and now, still sticking with it, in 2024 is just…wow. Time moves in such a weird way and seeing this story change in many, MANY ways is just—mind-boggling. I do hope this story has a satisfying ending and the main cast can actually put a label on their relationship (that might never happen though, cause of Chinese censorship. One can dream~~.) I really wouldn’t mind if everything wraps up honestly, haha.
This chapter was so well written in the sense that we got to see how the two actually feel (in a way?) so, so good. And their intimate scenes never disappoint, especially with how loving it is even if they themselves don’t see it that way.
