I think Yeonwoo had no idea abt the course of his sworn brother’s death before the stabbing incident. That’s why it seems Yeonwoo grew fond of Gunho enough to cover for him during the fight in the past and got stabbed. Maybe during Gunho’s time in jail, that Jaho bastard tricked Yeonwoo into thinking Gunho killed Dae-myung ( or sth), so Yeonwoo approached him wanting revenge while still holding his affection for Gunho from long before.
