Ngl, this could've been a big hit. The context, genre, the whole idea itself is original and their chemistry is unmatched. Even though it's been several years, I still hope that this would continue or maybe another author have created/is creating a story with the same context as this.
On the other hand, I think the rumor that the author has died might just be another baseless rumor that someone started out as a "joke" as the author hasn't uploaded in years and got out of hand until this many people believed it.

I was really hoping she'd wear the gown for her wedding instead of the final look The final attire is more typical (for this kind of story), and before the reveal I was fr like "please let her wear a gown or dress (cuz she fr ATE that look) and not the typical "this is a strong woman story, let's have the gown ruined or something and have her wear a whole different attire cuz this is a strong independent woman story"". In the end it still happened
