Her thoughts were similar to mine in an abusive household. You look for anyone strong enough to hold you above water, even for a moment, even if they might just drown you the next. Then you start fantasizing making a real family yourself. Not realizing you'd only drag yourself farther down. I was lucky to find someone who showed me those thoughts weren't good, and to wait for stability (emotional, financial, etc). I feel bad for people who don't or didn't have someone to pull them into their boat and take them to shore. Also, if your partner/ parent hits you once, they will hit you again. Don't think of the future, think of right now, and get out of that situation.
That's really painful. I'm sorry you went through that but thank you for giving us a real life perspective of things

Before chapter 109, this was a great story of deception, murder, intrigue, and so much more. Now it's starting feel like the whole point was to suck you in for the FL to sing... Hard no for me, wish it would've just stuck to finding out how her family gets bought out and murdered. Having a young girl school everyone in proper manners and etiquette was amazing to watch happen. Went from dark to rainbows, I'm good
ah don’t worry- it’s about to get really messy- right now they’re kinda just establishing her singing career and her friends that will support her in the fight to come. also introducing the male lead. but yeah the murder and all that stuff is about to come out in a few chapters
