I think she is written absolutely shallow and she deemed Jaegang as "good person" after him being 1h with her. Dan was so uncomfortable around him and she didn't care. It was just lazy writing to get us to see him a little bit better as a person, but for me it worked 0%. She is boring and only a plot device whereas this cute granny is really a big part of MC. The ML is also weird but atleast they had anything to do with each other for months and he helped her out so much.
