seriously. i understand mc is being manipulated by two fucked up guys, i dont feel sympathy for them, and while i get why daon got this fucked up, hes still the one character that annoys me the most (along with jaemin but hes a total psycho). i saw spoilers and i dont even feel happy abt the endgame. sunghyeon deserved someone that actually loved him, just because mc was being played with doesnt mean its fine to do it to others. he is despicable in his own way, not making a decission and trying to keep all of them for himself. listen, it could have even worked as a poly idk, but he was never honest about his feelings nor with others, always lying. his dependent behavior with jaemin was sick and while i get trusting him at first (because manipulators are good at that), even after people told him about him and he even saw for himself that jaemin was not a good person, he stuck with him. it made me nauseous. the treatment of sunghyeon is the most unfair thing. i wish that poor guy couldve found another. mc doesnt deserve him at ALL.
okay... just finished it. as expected the ending was rushed, and while i feel good about theig hea, i still feel there was no justice for sunghyeon's feelings. i liked the couple at the beginning, but i wish he stood for himself and didn't become his personal hero, when he deserved more than to always be that person for mc after the mistreatment. when mc cut ties with the others and was honest for once he felt more likeable to me, however that doesn't change my initial opinion, he is very flawed and too dumb. anyway, i will read the special eps, its just that it was very frustrating.
Reading this is stressful as someone who prefers the second ML, he has a better personality and is more charming, funnier and more good looking. IDK, it is frustrating because authors could at least give some chance to a second ML instead of just leave them there hanging while ML1 gets it all.
I also think MC and ML1 dont have chemistry and are even boring, the problem for me is that ML1 is very boring and uninteresting to me. Anyway, I will pick it up again if ML2 appears more and theres a miracle MC stops going to ML1 like a puppy.
i lowkeyy want the 2nd ML to be in a relationship with the 1st ML’s famous ex or atleast find someone else. idk i usually love when theres another couple in bl’s. although they all need some character development i think it would be nice so the 2nd ML isnt just sad and lonely watching
