Cause she be crazy, and wouldn't just "sit still" in jail. And her adoptive father is a noble so he would've meddled for sure. So it's actuallyore convinient to have just gotten rid of her. But in real life kids don't kill people ok?

It's because their souls aren't in the right bodies. So eventually the souls would want to go back their own body if it's still alive. That's why only one of them would could be alive and the other had to die.

I honestly hate both, the late king and the late empress or whatever she was. The late king cheated, which is awful, but still, that is just not a valid reason to physically abuse a child until they're begging not to get killed and then force the child to kill his own mother??? I get that it was hard for her, to get cheated on and then being told she's infertile, but to go to such lengths.. Nah

The late emperor did not cheat. He already had the maid as a mistress and it was a well known fact that he loved her but due to the difference in status, could only make her a concubine and not his queen. The empress came along later on and understood that it was a political marriage but was driven mad by grief due to the pressures and loneliness and the final nail in the coffin was being infertile while the mistress bore a son. The whole situation was messed up and tragic. The king was at fault for not protecting both his partners and eventually his son and the queen for what she did to lucio. Lucio and his mother were the victims in the whole situation.

Queen Alyssa is indeed pitiful.

But she shouldn't have done that to Lucio. And she even let him kill her own mother. Thats too much.

sorry but there is no justification for the late Queen the way was really cruel really , and this makes me think that even if the King treats her well she will do something evil because she can't bear a child, the image of a queen in important and this will make her feel incomplete for there Era that she's leaving.

I agree that there is no justification for what she did and the late king's neglect towards his wives and child, and I did say that lucio and his mother were the only victims in that whole situation. However, saying that Alyssa would have done the same thing either way is something I don't agree with. She was a kind and just person at the beginning and was even sympathetic towards the mistress. However, the neglect, the pressures that come with being a queen and a lot of other factors drove her mad bit by bit. To say that she was completely sane by the time lucio was born would be false and her mental condition was left unattended and it deteriorated even further till she was completely unstable and a danger to lucio and his mother but her behaviour was left unchecked and it turned into such a big tragedy that ultimately led to her death.

i read a complete novel,,, things would be different if the king act differently,,, the queen know about the concubine even before she was married to the king,,, and she doesn't care about them at all,,but the way the king act toward her by accusing her doing all bad things toward the concubine is just make no sense,,,even the concubine said she done nothing to her,,,the concubine pity the queen,,,the concubine also cry for the queen because of how the king treat the queen,,but the king insist the concubine cry because the queen did something bad to her,,,but i don't know how the manhwa would turn,,cuz manhwa tend to be drawn differently
