christ that sounds like a nightmare.... i mean a menstrual cycle would also mean ovulation, right? would omega males get that too? are they capable of holding both sperm cells and egg cells??? do they bleed from their ass? not sure. maybe they deal with these differently since our biological body's not the same as a human in an omegaverse.

You know what, I have always thought about this question. But I've never really looked up about it. I thought their heat cycle was their period, since it comes monthly. But, if female omega get both a heat cycle and a period that is BS and a lot of work to deal with. Although, I really don't know how this would work in the omegaverse. I should read some female omegaverse mangas. Now this is on my mind and I feel like researching about it.

Just think of Omegaverse as being similar to dogs or wolves (or rather werewolf).

"The heat cycle of the female lasts from 18 to 21 days. The first stage is called proestrus. It begins with mild swelling of the vulva and a bloody discharge. This lasts for about 9 days, although it may vary by 2 or 3 days."

So female omegas heat cycle is same as their periods. But for male omegas it's complicated. (￣∇￣") They do have an uterus and ovary, so I was wonder if they bleed too.

I believe, if I remember correctly, that the females don't have periods. That's kind of what the heat cycle is. I believe only beta females have actual periods. Cause an alpha female has both male and female parts as well as the Omega males. (I read Omegaverse too much)

My new headcanon is that there are so many male alphas going for male omegas because most female omegas commit suicide due to the pressure of having both a heat and period.

Haven't heard this before. I also read omegaverse too much as well. But I like it a whole lot.

It all depends on what the authors wants actually, because there's no real rule in Omegaverse world. Others making it more complex with dominant and recessive genes, while others keeping it simple.
The heat cycle is kinda their period whether they bleed or not is up to the author. But one thing is that they can't have both cycles

That's true. I was just going off of basic Omegaverses that I've read before.

And with all those different ideas we all getting confused what to follow (￣∇￣")
I prefer that only Beta females having their periods since the rest would give me headaches LOL So I categorised the rest as wolves. (〜￣△￣)〜 Most Alphas sure acts like beast while in heat, ahem. (≧∀≦)
