no i dont think thats the case.. the crown prince a freak.. he gave helena the dress knowing that eris is wearing the same one and always thinks that helena cant do any wrong, the crown prince sees her as this pitiful angel even though helena never asked him to and the way the crown prince hates eris isnt just because of helena although its probably been amiplified because of it but the way i see it if helena asked the crown prince to stop he would just ask her "why?" or "she's done so many bad things to you" he would never actually stop hating her

Sadly the cp is downright abusive. I think he doesn't even love Helena. He simply wants to get a reaction out of Eris. He's just posessive af and it kills helena inside because she can't refuse the cp, and she probably know deep inside that he doesn't love her. The fact that when helena found out they wore the same dress and he tried to PULL helena back when she was uncomfortable and wanted to change out really unsettled me. More red flags will probably show soon and I won't be surprised if the CP tried to gaslight cuz thats the trash he is.
