So this is what ive gathered from Korean and English summaries online on the novel's plot

In the OG timeline, the MC was killed because the prince 1 needed to sacrifice somebody for the betreyal but couldn't kill his brother's mom cause his brother is actually a really cute innocent smol bean and he didn't want to hurt him. Since he could only exile step mom, he was forced into killing MC for acting as the queen's puppet.

When the MC was reincarnated at 10? She was treated poorly and felt alone until she was pawned off to marry the prince 1. Prince 1 is aware of the queen's plans and finds her hella suspicious but still saves her life.

She begins to act kindly towards prince 1 and 2 and they all become friends. This is when misunderstandings start happening. The 1st prince has no idea why shes on their side now and comes to the conclusion that our MC is in love with him. He decideds they're now in a proper relationship and, since he also had a lonely childhood, badly flirts and acts romantically with the MC.

However, unlike other reincarnation stories, the MC still thinks of herself as an adult (died at 20s + 12 = early 30s) and therefore does not think of Price 1 in any romantic way. All his romantic gestures fly over her head and random nice kid behaviour.

5 ish years pass, MC and Prince 1 are 17. He is either leaving or just arrived back from war? (Sorry google translate was confusing). They sent each other letters while he was away, his romantic and hers friendly. She grows closer to the brother in a platonic way as well.

Once Prince 1 returns from war, hes ready to act as proper man and wife but MC tells him they should divorce (so he can be with the original protagonist who has a crush? on him)

The hero is naturally confused and hurt. Wondering if she cheated on him with another man, say his brother, while he was away. The MC is confused. Lots of funny conversations between the two where neither can understand what the other is trying to say.

The brother also doesnt get whats happening but is like 'wow theyre so in love' and supports them.

i think another few years pass? Idk but the korean summary mention something about then turning 21. Idk if thats the correct time Prince 1 returns (and he therefore left at 17 for war), or they have an epiloge/continued story of the couple ruling the kingdom

We all think we'd be a bertia or bakarina if we transported ourselves into one of the 40000 reincarnation stories but tbh we'd probs be closer to the original heroine. With bad acting and super desperate single girl vibe

Is this an ongoing story with 50++ raw chapters on toonkor or a completed LN on novelupdates??

okay so ive been skimming the raws and reading/comparing summaries of the novel to the webtoons and Ive come up with my own alternate ending (should this webtoon follow the original novels ending. Pls dont).

In the original timeline, it is shown that, not only is the prince an abusive shit, hes also an awful ruler, ends up triggering a revolution and being murdered.

I know everybody is doubting green haired boys intentions. Its true that he is commiting treason and wants to overthrow the prince and is slightly using her. But, based off the webtoon raws, his feelings for our MC are still 10000% sincere and she is the most important thing in his life.

In an ideal world, she refuses the "changed" Prince. Then she joins green haired boy in overthrowing the current monarchy and crowned Empress.

Obviously im being delusional
