I think the lying thing is not to naruse but rather to daiki. He invited daiki to his house for foods and cooking but after he always went somewhere else (to his family uwu) instead of staying at his own place. And daiki probably has been suspicious of it since the start and asumi is running out of excuses and probably contemplating to tell him about his rs with naruse and ichika.
