PROS: The art is pretty and the plot is fairly interesting, maybe it's because I love cult stuff tho. I like that we don't get constant flashbacks. Unpopular opinions: I like the ML. I also adore Lisandro and wish we could see more development in his character.
CONS: All the characters, even bby Lisandro, are so boo~boring. I don't care if the FL is a Mary Sue, I kinda like Mary Sues in these kinds of stories,but every single character is just OBSESSED with her for just breathing. It feels like the plot gets lost in the constant FL worship a lot of the time and the reading fatigue definitely sets in a lot quicker than other stories in the same genre.

I know Dan loves his grandma, but at a certain point he should look at her quality of life as well. I'm glad he turned down the head hunting, but I'm still hoping Jaekyung fucks up his next match and Dan ends up leaving because let's face it, Jaekyung will probably find a way to blame him.
This is a little pick, but did anyone else see the author added another brother at some point? In the first chapter it said there were two sons and a daughter but eventually the oldest bro appeared and I was hella confused for a minute.
Yeah I saw that line but literally in that chapter itself they mentioned the first son being the heir and ML always being compared to the 2nd son. ML is the 3rd son and 4th child so I think that 2 sons and 1 daughter refers to the children except ML

I'm kinda beefing with this story now that I've reread it all. I don't mind that Cayena is the Mariest Sue since she's the FL, but all the talk of Raphael and his mom being great dukes seems like character padding and all he does is follow her around. (like Gillian, Raphael's vassal hadn't been checked up on in so long he was murking people left and right and involved in a bunch of illegal activity) Also, kinda icky that they share a sibling (ew).
The emperor is a shitty person. He was embarrassed his wife had an illegitimate child with a dude he didn't like so he took the kid in. Instead of either fully accepting the kid or ignoring him, he actively threatened and emotionally abused him. Why is Rezef the price of the Empress's "unfaithfulness", but his side piece and bonus baby is all fine and dandy? So, neglecting Cayena, abusing Rezef, and can't protect the kid he actually likes... What. Does. The. Emperor. Do?
I don't think Rezef is a redeemable character or anything, I just think he's living out his own revenge plot alongside Cayena but he doesn't have main character plot armor. Also, how tf did Rezef plan and scheme the Nanny into exile? He was like 7-8 years old. I don't think I'll be continuing this story, maybe I'm thinking about it too much but oh well. I hope everyone who sticks around has one heck of a dramatic ride and enjoys the lovely art lmao
Crazy that my first thought of someone trying to get Dan to sell out Jaekyung is "do it, do it, do it!" Someone needs to knock that pos down a few pegs, but knowing Jaekyung, he'll probably just blame Dan for not taking care of his physical state (︶︿︶)＝凸

I just wish all this buildup would finally come to an end so that something can actually happen. Like I really didn't need to see Jaekyung preparing for a single fight for 10 chapters just for him to have a reason to yell at Dan some more.
