.Even after reading the novel I still think Su He was better choice as ML. I really can't see chemistry between MC n Ning Zhou (⊙…⊙ ) and the way they fell in love just didn't vibe with me like I didn't feel anything maybe coz I was looking at pretend play. It wouldn't have been great if they had more chemistry coz ML background was an appetiser for tragedy it'd have been fun (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

That's what I thought at first too. But!!!!!! We then get book 2 and omfg, I ended up loathing SuHe. And MC and ML ends up having a very sweet (but short) romance. I teared up

Sure is actually an NPC. He's not human from the real world. He is actually a demon and the reason why MC's first game was so difficult was bc SuHe screwed with the game difficulty. Because MC has an interesting skill and SuHe suspects MC has something special, he took a special interest in him. During one of the games, SuHe gives MC a choice: join him and become a demon or die. When MC refused to join him, SuHe kills him. Legit kills him. He let's him bleed out. MC dies but bc of a reward he obtained during one of the game, he can revive after 7 days. Duuuude.......I cried so much when MC died bc Ning Zhou was so heartbroken. It was here that Ning Zhou finally admitted he really loves MC. Despite the taboo of mlm relationship AND MC being a player (NPC and player relationships is taboo), Ning Zhou goes back to the church to say he's leaving. He will leave the church that raised him bc he no longer wants to deny the love he has for MC. Even though MC is dead, he will dedicate the rest of his life for him.
Anyway, book 2 ends with SuHe attacking Dawn(?) City. He gathers all of his forces and invades. Tons of players die. SuHe MURDERS the doctor friend and also the HQ guy (forgot his name). Later, when MC tries to bury the doctor friend in his dreamscape, SuHe reveals his impersonated the corpse. So now he's poisoned the MC's consciousness and MC is doomed to die. His soul will break and there is no way he can revive now.
So ML does the ultimate sacrifice. ML becomes takes on the mantel his father left him. He becomes the demon king he hated so that he can remove MC's curse.
Oh adding on. Bc
ML has become the demon king, all of the players and NPC of the world will try to kill him either to return the world back to peace or so they can end the game and go home.
