The plot didn't show much development. We need more of their childhood days and the reason why they didn't get along. But the art is so good.
So it has timelines but didn't have parallel worlds thats why its so confusing. Like how the original timeline was swept like it was nothing and proceed where they ended up together. He got into accident(referring to second tl) . The neo from original was suddenly combined with the neo from second timeline who got amnesia. Then he starts recovering his memories.
