They're both adults, not related by blood or grew up together, they're consenting (I hope so, I haven't read it yet) and come on, 15 years and that bad. Edit: it's literally in the first panels that the mc is 24 and has been living with the "stepdad" for 3 years and that he never considered him his father. He married his mom 8 years ago, so the mc was 16. And then lived together at 21+ so where's the issue?

Turns out it's not my cup of tea, but the stepdad thing is the least of my worries. I don't like the pacing and how their conversation goes. Also recording someone without their knowledge is a crime.
