Because he’s at the point where he can talk about happy memories with him. That doesn’t mean he wants to go into why he’s in the hospital. Like my mom died and it was really horrible for me. Also it's fine to mention it. And it's fine not to. But it's kinda awkward af if you bring it up, and the other person asks about it, and then you shut them down like they were being rude lol. Idk... it was so awkward. I hate witnessing such things.
And the fact that he's done this before ugh in the exact same way. It's just hella awkward for the other person who is dragged into a heavy topic, and when they try to reciprocate interest in the topic; the other person cuts it off and acts like they were infringing on their personal problem. This whole conversation was awkward as hell. Idk you can disagree of course, but I personally wished the seme saw uke's other side through this backstory. Like how STRONG minded he was or whatever...

1) With things like death, sickness etc. sometimes you begin talking about it without realizing that going into the topic could become awkward. 2) I didn’t think he made it seem like the Seme was being rude. He started talking about his brother and realized that he didn’t want the Seme to feel uncomfortable and tried to change the subject. The seme’s personality is awkward to begin with, he pretty much left it to the uke to carry the conversation. I didnt see it as him being uninterested in the conversation, He’s always been like that. I hope he learns to talk more or something cause it’s awkward AF and has me going (°▽°) half the time lmao

I was saying that how he has done it in the past a couple of times and realized he didn't like talking about the topic or more precisely, he didn't want others to KNOW about it so he should be adamant about not mentioning it but its quite awkward to make the other person look like he was the one who was crossing the line. Their relationship also seems a bit corny and kinda guided by the "method acting" they did since their connection was all based on the roles they were playing. Especially with the uke...
Like it takes years to develop that method actor personality but he's having trouble getting out of his character just after a few scenes and that too were all "intimate" ones. Like the ending of the movie - which was supposedly heartbreaking - didn't make sense??? He was certified as negative for HIV and he still killed himself??? Lol wut
Method acting is creepy in the first place and I just wish the uke had some backbone and some actual acting experience of his own. It was like this was his first film. It would have amazing if they were both highly competitive...the GOOD acting the uke did was when he wasn't acting at all???
And the seme and director knew it. Still the seme forced his director friend to hire the uke even though he wasn't impressed???

It means....he wasn't a good actor, and the times he acted good were the times he wasn't acting at all.
Recommendation was unfair, though I understood why he did it. Professional as in...as an actor; who is considered one of the best; should at least take in consideration the impact of his recommendation.
ANYWAY what bothers me is that the uke didn't get the audition on his own merit.
Just because it is "common" doesn't mean it's right. You can disagree but I would've liked if he actually was chosen for his skills rather than because his "pretend" boyfriend made it happen. Idk...

The director literally says he was chosen for his skill and not for the recommendation though that did have an effect ln letting him audition again. Not to mention the directors first request, not telling the actor anything about the character, role, context etc. is seriously hard to act out with or without skill and talent. Also recommending people is completely normal especially when it comes to the entertainment business , the actor had his own talents, though his skills are obviously not perfect he’s still getting there and the guys recommendation only gave him a push to actually be able to show his talent. It’s not like the director got bribed so i don’t know why you’re looking so deep into the minor insignificant details but not looking at the actual important things. Bribery ans recommendations are two seperate things

Agree with this one. Like it or not, a lot of jobs come from recommendations and networking. So actually, you could say the MC did a good job networking and was able to get the opportunity to *audition* for the role. Even if he fucked up the first time, he did well the second time and so u could say he deserves. If he was truly that bad, then of course he still wouldn’t have gotten it!!

Also, out of all things to nitpick, idk why u chose the method acting as one of them. It’s a bit presumptuous to call it “creepy” when it does happen irl and is a valid thing to add onto the plot. Anyways, at the end of the day, this is just a story. There’s nothing that toxic or problematic in it either. No need to take it that seriously lolol

The director said he wasn't impressive in his audition at all and was "reassured" by the seme based on the film they just did together??? The DIRECTOR of the film they worked on while he was directing it mentioned his 'good acting" skills only when he WASN'T acting but had *become* the character- the method part. To me that isn't a test of his acting skills. Basic scenes he had to do had to be taken a lot of NG cuts.
You can CONSIDER it fair, but I didn't like it. I didn't think it was FAIR even if it is what generally happens..I would've liked it if he got it on his merit - I.E. BY AUDITIONING.
The diesctir was intrigued by him being casted by that famous director and making this famous actor the second main character so he was INTRIGUED but he wasn't impressed. Whatever. That's the least of the problems this manhwa has.

I don’t think you actually know what plotholes are . There has been no instance where the plot has been nonsensical in terms of development. Yes, you can have your own opinion for moments on what you deem “unlikeable” (shitty takes at that!) but the plot itself has been so straightforward. All your take was that “I wish the uke had a backbone awww” okay? “I wish he can act better when he’s been in this career for 6 years awww” How is that a plot hole? again you’re missing the entire fucking point and instead focusing on insignificant details, literally just reread the manhwa cause it seems like some chapters just went over your head. It would be fine if you actually had valid critique but all you’re doing is nitpicking things that you just didn’t read. The director so clearly states that he infact did not choose the actor bc of the recommendation but bc of his own talent which also includes being able to immerse yourself in the character. Regardless of what you think it’s still real acting and so many actors do it, completely immerse themselves in the character which makes it more realistic. Your points make absolutely no sense
