Think he hears chaotic noises if he doesn't so he uses sedatives to calm himself down
seems likes he hears voices, idk why he does, maybe it has to do with his past ╮(￣▽￣)╭
He can hear every little kind of sounds loudly, such as a heartbeat, pulse, blood flow in a person's vain for example. Without the sedatives, the world would be too noisy for him, and to quite things down, he get rid of the sources by killing the people.
Even though if the author tells us his side of the story I still hate him •_• but we all know they will probably end up together anyways
