I've reread this so many times now and it's just as cute every time I love this dynamic and they're both such sweethearts. There's so little nonsense conflict and they're just so damn cute. Also obsessed with his grandma, she's so adorable and sweet (Pochi too )
Ao is so precious :") I love this story so much, it's just so sweet!!! I love that they both have insecurities and doubts but they face each other through it, even if everything is screaming to run away or hide. I can relate to both of them, but especially Ao and how he fears coming to hate something he loves/enjoys so he distances himself. It's such a counterintuitive thing, but I guess in some ways losing something you love feels better than hating it? I love how upfront Midori is and how he acknowledges his wrongdoings and wants to improve!
Also Yoshida is such a wonderful friend I love that he sees right through them. And when he calls Midori out for saying homophobic things in such a gentle way. He knows Midori doesn't mean it, and he knows it comes from an internalized place of fear.
So short but so good and sweet!!! Love
I loved that little bonus with Taiichi I'm such a sucker for bright happy guy and his gang of delinquent besties. I also really liked Matsuoka's personality cause he really subverted my expectations a lot! Like when he confronted his friends and was like "nah idc that y'all were badmouthing me lol" he's hella chill lmao.
Cute dynamic, they're both so dumb lol I love Sugou's bestie too. It wasn't super exciting but it was nice
I love when a manga has a foreign character and they just give them a long made up name (both his names seem to be derivatives of actual Greek names just slightly altered but like...)
also I googled Hagne to see info about the name and it apparently means "pure, virginal" which seems about right, but I lost it when beneath that google suggested "people also ask: what is the most unmoanable name"

I love this author, and I really love how these stories are told! I was sad when I got to chapter two because I thought it was just a collection of one-shots, but then I got to chapter 3 and realized and absolutely love the changes in perspective to tell the stories. Both were really sweet and I love the connected universe. Such a pretty story

My soul lives in this story now. Idk, it's just so warm and comforting. I love awakening stories where there's just that "oh" moment when all the discomfort of hetness clicks and everything makes sense, because finally something feels right. The art is so damn pretty and I love these characters so much bc they subvert expectations on how you'd imagine these character types. The seemingly happy-go-lucky confident guy is pretty insecure and friendless and the naive one is very outspoken and refuses to accept bullshit. I love that so much. And I love Himari being innocent/naive in certain ways, but fully understanding that Gaku is on some bullshit and confronting him. Yet even still, someone you love saying hurtful things really would hurt even if you knew they weren't being honest. Seriously this is such a short, simple story and yet made me feel SO much. I can lay my mind to sleep in the comfortable bed this has made
