I knew what page you meant, but just because there is one picture of them unbutton his pants doesn’t mean he was raped. They show more than once how Dai hands them ciggarettes, Jahee even says ”the smell of burnt flesh” and a few chapter later talks (or think) about the scar from that day and that it is a mark of Violence. And no he doesn’t mean a psychological scar because this scar, oddly enough, filled him with strange pride because of Dai. Besides in almost all of the volumes they mention the rape of eunghun, we see small glimps of flashbacks from her experinced and we see how horrible it is for her. If Jahee was raped as well I highly doubt that the author would left that out, but instead she would have focused on how he handle it as well. Since this is tagged with Psychology after all. I can tell by how you write you are really young, but reading can help and not just look at ONE picture.
Ohh yea rape was definitely romanticized, u can tell by the way the characters reacted, u can tell they enjoyed it a lot especially the girl that developed severe trauma and depression which evenruay led to suicide. Extremely sexy.
When I referred to romanticizing rape I referred to the readers reaction of continuing to support a relationship between the main character (who was obviously gang raped-Chapter 1 Page 51) and Dai. THAT is one of the many ways you can romanticize rape: choosing to continue to glorify a relationship that it's main base was set on sexual abuse and violence.
