I admit that I was too harsh with my criticisms of Yuyang. I was honestly just frustrated that we’re 100 plus chapters in the story and the main couple have made absolutely zero progress. Anyway, I still think everyone’s treating the girl too harshly for her involvement in the situation when it was actually Yuyang’s insecurities that messed up his relationship with Lihuan in the first place. Yuyang’s insecurities are his alone, no one else’s.
Yuyang would still be scared and insecure whether the girl was in the story or not so can everyone stop treating her like she’s the antagonist? The real villains are Yuyang’s negative feelings but that’s just my two cents

I know how you feel. I am just wondering if after 100 chapters they will get together somehow and then 1 to 2 chapters after the author would be like the end. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Like we won't get to see anything about their relationship if that is the case. And I will be really disappointed. Σ(っ°Д °;)っ
I am just scared lol... I was reading a manhua before and it was aroun 150 chapters about a slow relationship development and its harships. On chapter 149 ... After 149 chapters they decide to get together at last and on chapter 150 about 5 pages long it was like... Yeah after X years they got married and the end. So yeah whatever. I pull my hair of frustration.

Reading these comments has left me so confused. Apparently the girl is the bad guy even though Yuyang is the one running away from his feelings, hurting Lihuan and being an idiot who refuses to properly convey his feelings. He needs to stop being such a sheltered princess for once in the damn story and open his mouth and tell Lihuan how he feels and why he was so upset.
I really don’t like what’s going on here. The reason they’re in this mess is because the foundation of their relationship is crap because Yuyang is full of problems.
The girl barely did anything and their relationship is ruined. What type of relationship did they have to begin with then?
So yeah, Yuyang is the criminal in this situation yet people are trying to spin it as if he’s the victim. Yeah, he’s the victim of his own problems.

I agree that the fujoshi girl is not the enemy here. Although she has no business poking her head into the main couple's business, she means well and seems to be slowly learning that they don't need a cupid. She might be cringy and clueless now, but I can see her growing into a wonderful supportive friend for our main.
I don't think it's fair to call Yuyang the "bad guy" here either. There are no bad guys in this situation. Yuyang is human. He has fears and insecurities. Yes, he's letting his doubts blind him, but that happens even to the best of us. I'm sure the author will use this as a way to let Yuyang heal and grow.

You’re also leaving out the fact that is fucking difficult being gay. There’s so much more complexity to this story and the current situation that what majority of readers are currently making it out to be. This isn’t your typical fetishized yaoi story here. It’s depicting real life and the actual pace many genuine relationships take to get to where they need to be

Absolutely right! I think it shows just how terrified Yuyang is about this whole situation. Normally he is confident, charismatic, and outgoing. He's even open about his sexuality with his peers, but when it comes to starting a relationship with Lihuan, a "straight" man, his fears take over. The thought of being left behind by Lihuan is more hurtful than burying his feelings and cutting off their relationship before it even begins. I think so many people can relate to Yuyang's insecurities and fears and that just helps make him a more realistic and interesting character.

Spot on, sis! And i personally truly appreciate how it’s shining a light on the emotional difficulties of a gay person, especially when it comes to starting a relationship with someone who was never gay in the first place. In most cases from what I’ve seen and experienced, it never works out and it turns out the other person was just bi-curious and it’s a whole mess and YuYang has every right to feel damn right afraid and scared of this relationship

The uke is the insecure loser who sucks at communication. The girl did absolutely nothing wrong.
Sorry not sorry. I said what I said and I meant it.

I agree and disagree.
It's not her fault but it's actually quite difficult to live your sexuality in some place of the world. Yes YuYang says really loud that he's gay but he has to face the difficulties that come with. Remember that we are in the estearn society.
His family disapprove him to the point he's reluctant to go home. He's being targeted by some people. He was hurt in the past, he trusted someone and ended up hurt. I know for the last example it happens to everyone but the breakup may have a being really hard for him because if I remember correctly the lover went to a girl in the end. Under pressure or under true love ? Who knows ?
This does not change the fact that YuYang should communicate more but to me his not an insecure loser. Yes he's insecure but not a loser.
It's a lot for him. He had to build a shield to protect himself and at this point of the story he'd rather push LiHuan away even if he has feelings for him than to take the risk to let him in and be hurt once again.
“ that would make me totally gay”
That confused look his boyfriend shot him after he said that . He was like ???????? Huh??????
