I'm not completely sure but she called all the important characters in the novel by 'male protagonist' and because of the fact that the novel is a reverse harem genre I think that's why there're many male protagonist.. The story never really tells which is the actual ml in the novel yet and all the important characters are yet to appear so yeah hope this helps..
