we like the story but then the age gap is pedophilic. like, a 12 year old with an 18 year old Adult. I mean arranged marriage in old days happened. manga like otoyomegatari has twenty year old Amira married to 12 year old Karluk. But thats only marriage in name until he grows up. No sexualisation at all. Here, an adult looking man is literally kissing a loli. The story is great but I wish she wasnt a kid and actually like 16 or 18 if they are going to do things like kissing and other stuff. Because even if this was okay back then, its us 21st century folks reading it and its 21st century folks that is absorbing the message. Some historical things are better left behind in History because they dont age well, just like this manga
In Otoyomegatari, Even it's just a little short one panel to show the scene , Amira and Karluk they did kiss each other tho, not we know more what behind the scene what happen in their daily life .
yea, but its more appropriate and less sexualised. The focus is on the community and Karluk has grown up to around 15 when he finally kissed her as a promise that Amir wont leave her as he is too young for him. There was the whole conundrum about Amir getting taken back by her father and Karluk felt inferior as he was too weak and too young to protect her. The inferiority festered for years. And after that kiss, things went back to normal and the manga no longer focus on it. It wasnt because they were horny, the kiss was portrayed by the author to be a promise that she would support him as his wife and that she would wait for him till he matures. Here they seem to be kissing both chapter, the focus is on them smashing their lips every end of chapter with passion that a 18 year old should not be having for a naive 12 year old. It almost implies that more would happen in later chapters. As a person in the 21st century, would you like an adult stranger to come to your house and keep coaxing kisses out of of your 12 year old daughter every time they meet. And they arent even married yet.

Knowing that she will ended with Jade make me have mixs feeling. I m glad that my ship is sailing but... the stories seem.. more focus too Riina i think. I though the chick that the princes met at the past was Mc, but it is actually Riina. This make the mc juz like supporting character for Riina to be partner up with the prince ( which at the end she will be the queen)
