Honestly, I still hate Chowon. He gets no sympathy from me. Mental illness is no excuse for criminal behavior. There is absolutely so way anyone can defend his actions because he did this on his own accord. No one told him to and even if Dojun didn't like him back, I dont think he is at fault for his actions.
I half agree. You can't use mental illness as an excuse but you can't completely rule it out. You have to at least acknowledge there's mental illness present. And I agree that we can't blame Dojun. Arranged marriage still happens and like other marriages, sometimes it just doesn't work. Honestly I feel we can't blame either one for the fall of their marriage because Chowon did everything for love (although in pretty aggressive ways) and Dojun never loved him. Trying to put the blame on one of them is just unproductive, we should just move on. The story is moving on but some ppl are still stuck in the same place.
This reply will be showed after approved! Looooooone
What are you on about? I know the court considers mental illness but in my opinion, mental illness shouldn't be a full defense for a crime. Many serial killers had mental illnesses and many of them got the death penalty. Mental illness was considered, however for most of these people, treatment was probably rejected or they were too dangerous to be put back in society.
Accidentally followed and I don’t know to undo it.. but yeah, what else did they expect. I’m sure they read yaoi knowing there’s a possibility of it happening.
