I can't really pinpoint why the seme acts the way he acts buuut I don't think he is capable to feel love. Maybe he's lost someone he loved who betrayed him or something but I really don't think he feels like someone can genuinely love him either. Maybe he's been burned before and that makes him think that someone can't really truly love him and that's why he acts the way he acts. He puts up a wall that no one can climb. It's easier to control someone with money than love I guess （￣へ￣） That way he won't get hurt.
I agree but i don't think it's about control with him either , when sieon was talking to his friend he told him that he didn't mind when his exes broke it off with him like he should which can't be entirely true and that hinted on something but i can't put my hand on it yet
