Also, did you see anywhere in this chapter even acknowledging that maybe he did something vad to azusa? Did you see him do it ever? No, so i dont really expect it to happen. His character development is just he has feelings now. And he didn't want azusa to get gangraped from the start (because hes possessive) so i dont really call it character development. (Also how has the bar fell so low we suppose to praise a rapist because he doesn't wanna rape now)

Exactly to you and OP. The only things that kept me interested in the story was Azusa's revenge but now he is uwu, badump badump when he sees the guy who abused him through the whole story... But as we know the bar is veeeery low.

Why are you so interested in me? I choose not to explain bc anyone else other than me wouldn't get it so I don't wanna waste any time. And when I read Ogawa Chise's works, I expect these kinds of endings and stories bc that's what she's famous for. The least that one could hope for in her stories is for the couples to be free from the game and have a happy ending together, whether its messed up, unhealthy, or not doesn't matter. She isn't famous for creating healthy, fluffy romance stories. It's supposed to be toxic.

I mean i get both characters and there isnt really a right or wrong side, they just dont know what the other is going through. Marie just wants to help minju, because she sees their situations as similar. She thinks shes doing the right thing, because she also couldn't really understand she was in an abusive situation until her aunt pointed it out, so she probably think minju just doesn't understand yet. But i still dont think she shouldve get herself involved in something that really doesn't concern her, its minju's private life. So i think minju is also right to get mad, but she does go overboard with what shes saying to marie, not knowing anything about her.
