Iām probably of the minority opinion here but I actually like seonbae for the ML
Yes I know he has some a**hole moments but I actually think it stems from jealousy and misunderstandings. From the beginning he noticed the ML, was nice to him and thought he was cute. Heās never thought of him as weird and has defended him multiple times against ppl who have said it both in front of ML and when ML has not been there.
Seonbae accuses hyung of acting more than a stepbrother but isnāt he actually the one acting as more than a f*** buddy?
-He turns down the blind date meeting
-calls ML babe, honey etc
-calls, texts, asks him to hang out like theyāre dating and gets upset when ML doesnāt respond
-after their night together, one of the texts he sends the ML is why he left without saying anything? Why would a normal f*** buddy care about that?
-apologized every time he said something that upset the ML
-seems to genuinely be concerned about the ML (tried to find out about hyung, didnāt take MLās hand when he was falling, when ML went MIA for 4 days was worried)
I think that if he had never joked around in the beginning that ML only wanted to sleep with him, then they couldāve started dating ānormallyā. They both seemed disappointed when they thought the other was only looking for sex
No cause I agree I donāt think seonbae is that bad. The only thing I think he sucked for was when I think their friend asked if he would date mc some thing and he was like hell no. And then the other part that actually really sucked was when the MC was like Seonabe āwhat are weā like after they had just finished having sex and he was like what do you mean weāre fuck buddies. Like I donāt think heās dense so that was upsetting either than that I actually am rooting for them simply because the second ML isnāt doing it for me just yet. Like Iām getting nothing. I read the raw for the authorās notes after S1 and they mention Chan Young (sunbae) having his first heartbreak soā¦ Iām guessing ML breaks up with him and he realizes he really likes him. And like someone elseās theory in the comments that ML and sunbae will eventually team up and figure out what to do about hyung/tree spirit. Looking forward to S2!

You actually get some chapters with the semeās POV and it turns out right from the beginning heās noticed the uke and he realized that the uke was just all talk and would actually show signs of being nervous around girls. At first he thinks he notices inwhi because he wants to sleep with him but once he realizes he likes him for real thatās when he starts pursuing him. Iām not sure if that the seme didnāt pretend he needed relationship help that the uke would even actually notice the seme like thatā¦

Like, I get you like him but Do Jae told you outright how he was and what he was all about which I think is better than others who pretend just to get in your pants.
