Honestly, the author wrote themselves into a corner with killing Donnie. But, I can understand that because Donald was barely 16 and his (and union"s) only future is to be mafia. Personally, it should have ended with Grey losing the battle but Union and Eunjang form a truce.
But I am not really upset. The fights peaked with Wolf/Grey and Ben/Jake and the others were just rehash of them. Even Donald v Ben/Grey didn't have that wow factor that a highly anticipated fight should do. The story with Eugene telling how Grey and his friends became legends and ended with Grey meeting Stephen again.
I hope Stephen meets the rest of the crazy crew in the epilogue and uri Benny gets all the fried chicken for himself.
