This makes me so mad. Thinking about how bullies have such a huge impact on their victims even YEARS after and they don’t care, they don’t even REMEMBER you... it’s so disgusting and honestly I don’t give a shit if aiden’s brother did something good for once, he’s a rotten person. I have never been bullied or harassed but it still aggravates me to this extend. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

I absolutely hate student/teacher relationships. It’s so extremely gross. Not because of the age gap, not because the kid is not even allowed to drink yet but because it’s just one of the weirdest things ever. No matter how I look at it, it seems like an abuse of power. Teachers are supposed to teach you mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, languages etc but NOT physically teach you how to fuck someone. I’m sorry but teacher x student or student x teacher is just a big ass no-no.

Isn’t it kinda weird to be in a relationship with your father?? (Ik they’re not blood related but people do something like marking and it basically prevents incest. It’s instinctive).

So a real life adoptive father could start banging their kid and that would be fine with you? Because it’s fictions it gets away with this. But it’s just as much a taboo as physically being related to your child. It’s just a cop out that a lot of these stories rely on (step) relationships and adoption to get away with this pseudo incest. If you raised a child from infancy or early childhood and they think of you as their father, brother, guardian, etc how is it possible for you want to stick your dick in them or vice versa unless there’s something morally wrong with you?

Assuming Aka and Sakichi end up together. While I don't think Aka sees Sakichi as their father, this story trope is oddly popular. Children don't know their parents are blood related, so it's strange to see a bunch of manga focusing on a single man picking up and raising a child only to have a romantic relationship with it after it's grown up.

it romanticizes the idea of grooming and inadvertently reinforces the problematic association of homosexuality with pedophilia. Even if this isn’t authors’ intention there is already a stigma of this, that once surrounded the gay community. BL is no friend to the LGBT community so it’s not surprising that this sort of ignorant trope still persists because authors can’t be bothered to do their research. The author issue with this plot is it invalidates the power of “found families” as only a method of future romantic/ sexual relationships between members. There’s just a lot problematic with this trope.

Thank you to everyone who elaborated. I agree with you all wholeheartedly. The problem is that it’s incest (as I’ve already explained in my og comment), grooming and basically raising a child to be your sex slave. This is a trope in yaoi and porn in general but bc the stigma surrounding men (gay and straight) who adopt is so bad, it just makes it worse.

Ok so you're spoiling the rest of the story, great. Because in the first chapter, we see nothing of the sort.
So no need to be aggressive with me when you're talking about something that's not even out here. I was just asking a question about something that i didn't see yet, never said that I was ok with this "presumed" relationship.
I think hurting others hurts more than hurting yourself, and in this case it was obvious that the uke was a sweet, lonely and sad person before this went down. That’s why I think it’s rather sad that he got vengeance. It was like look what I’ve become, the exact thing I despised. Yk? Like J think mind break is just so sad and I hoped that the uke could just heal and the seme get the help that he oh so clearly needed. I, personally would have probably set his house on fire after that thing with the friend or stabbed them but the uke was clearly just a depressed cutie and not some vindictive, cruel person. Anyway, I liked the art.
