Daniel is in love or will be in love with Mildred but Mildred is semi dense and I forgot the other reason but she doesn't really except his feelings until towards the end I think it I remember but I'll have to re-read and see because I'm not 100% on that
anyways my point was that Daniel isn't a bad guy or at least not the enemy of Mildred and the girls but his actions here confuse me since I don't know his motives exactly and what they have shown us these past chapters makes it look like Daniel can't be trusted

sometimes it bothers me that Marie's abilities only come from a mystical power and not really from herself and it seems like the only reason he likes her so much is because of these abilities she received without her own work. obviously she is a good person and uses her powers to help others and also was known and loved by her former country for being a charitable, kind, and just princess. but I wish her powers came from her own abilities. I wish her knowledge was because she studied on her own and learned on her own rather than given to her
yes she does get the ouch and some knowledge from the dreams but she interprets them into her own ways of thinking so she is getting like a head start but in the end she explains the situation her self and also she realizes the problems her self if i remember correctly, be free to correct me on that one.
