I think Gen's character is so cute I wish he hadn't been her step brother but like a childhood friend next door neighbor or something that she treated like a brother but I know the relationship is why the dynamic is the way it is
brooo was not expecting Charlotte to be alive much less the princess! this is actually best case scenario because at least if Lancelot sees that Charlotte is alive and also not the person he thought she was he'll be able to move on. plus maybe now Charlotte can explain to him what she knows...also does Charlotte not care about any of her people or her revenge? the least she could do now is try to use her current position to restore her families noble status and crush the duke or something
it was mentioned before that charlotte didn't care about everyone who sacrificed their lives for her other than duke vestia(idk if I spelled his name right but idc) and her revenge for her family. In short, she's selfish
