I totally get why he wants to be single. Aside from not being completely interested I think he spends so much time working and taking care of his brother that he feels he probably couldn't devote any to someone else. He probably realizes it wouldn't be fair to someone else. Unless that other person understands that his brother will always come first as his first priority. And for some people they can't stand not being number 1 and need lots of attention. I hope she realizes that his brother is first and that she'll always have to factor the little brother in their relationship.
