When Kaname gave his heart , she was reborn, but the heart wasn’t strong enough to keep her as she was, and she turned into a baby.
Kaname became without a heart, and Yuki became weak with a human heart. That’s what led to their death. They turned to dust. They’re not real humans. That’s why their death was like any vampire.
They died together. It just took its time.

It's her pure luck that she met Susie and ended here but did she had any other alternative? I can think of many MANY possibilities of what can happen to a girl that has no one she can rely on AND is also alone on the streets.
